Certified Nursing Assistants enjoy a rewarding career in a growing field. In order to become a CNA, you must complete a CNA program and then pass the CNA exam. The Colorado School of Nursing offers students complete training in the CNA career path, and over 95 percent of the students enrolled at the Colorado School of Nursing go on to work in their chosen field.

CNAs can work in a variety of locations, including nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, mental health facilities and private homes. CNAs can also work for agencies that place nurses in long-term and short-term assignments. CNAs have a large degree of flexibility in their work environment, as they can work in schools, summer camps, education facilities and drug rehab programs.
